Attorney Julie A. Franklin is the first attorney in her family, and prides herself on dedicating her life to obtaining justice for all. She is often quoted saying:

 "We don't like to need an attorney, but it's nice to know one when you do." 

            A proud native Georgian, Attorney Julie A. Franklin received her bachelors degree in Political Science from the University of Georgia in 2008. She received her J.D. from New England Law in 2011. Attorney Franklin is licensed to practice law federally in several jurisdictions, as well as in the state of New York, the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, South Carolina and the great state of Georgia.

          Attorney Franklin represents corporations as general counsel, as well as offering legal services relative to bankruptcy, wills, estates and trusts, business organization, civil litigation, complex probate litigation and some criminal defense matters. Over the past several years, she has specialized in federal bankruptcy law with particular focus on individual and corporate Chapter 7 and 13 filings. Attorney Franklin also handles other civil matters including but not limited to landlord/tenant and consumer protection, including private and court appointments as Guardian Ad Litem in Boston Housing Court and Chatham County Superior Court.

 

          Currently, Attorney Franklin maintains her Massachusetts status as Of Counsel at the Law Office of Jeffrey M. Frankel located in Quincy, MA, where the practice focuses on bankruptcy, real estate, and landlord tenant matters. Attorney Franklin was the managing attorney of Affordable Law Group, MA for several years. 

          Attorney Franklin is a member of the South Carolina Bar Association, Georgia Bar Association and the New York Bar Association, and looks forward to seeking unique volunteer options in the Savannah, Bluffton, Hilton Head Island, and surrounding areas to continue to assist as many people as she can in whatever way possible.
